Interview by Thomson Reuters
In February 2017, I was interviewed on camera by Hugo Boogaerdt for Reuters Africa Daily. He is currently working on a documentary on women’s rights in Senegal. He focuses on harmful practices, including Female Genital Mutilation/Cutting (FGM/C). During his research, he came across my PhD research and he wrote me an e-mail with the question if I would be willing to be interviewed on camera for his documentary. Of course I said “yes”, although I must admit that I was quite excited. I was only interviewed a couple of times on the radio, and this was the first time on camera.
Below you’ll find a few pictures of the interview that took place in my office.
